Welcome to my electronic (eFolio) portfolio. Here you will have the
opportunity to become familiar with projects I've been involved
with as a graduate student at San Francisco State
University (SFSU). Throughout my experience at SFSU, I have had
the great opportunity to work with diverse communities to develop
and implement innovative public health undertakings that are
grounded in social justice.
My academic background at SFSU combined with my research experience at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) have provided me skills to reexamine health determinants in distinct populations. Additionally both my academic and professional experiences have fueled my commitment to link research outcomes to communties to ultimately decrease health disparities. Collaborating with communities can ground our efforts and provide us with great insight to understanding their assets and needs.
